Almost everyone wants beautiful skin – it should be firm, even and flawless. Small blemishes such as varicose veins, stretch marks or spider veins destroy the overall appearance and quickly damage self-confidence. Tights and make-up are supposed to cover up problem areas in everyday life, but if they are not concealed, small blemishes can lead to insecurity and embarrassment. But why should you settle for that? With a world first from Belgium, such problems can finally be a thing of the past! EVRF® stands for endovenous radiofrequency therapy and uses heat to coagulate the proteins in the veins. In this minimally invasive treatment method, small needles or catheters are inserted into the vessel. The increase in temperature is achieved by emitting high-frequency pulses into the affected veins. We work with the EVRF generator from the Belgian company fcare systems. The electrical impulses heat the treatment area, the water in the veins evaporates and the coagulable components of the tissue flocculate. During the process, the tissue shrinks considerably – comparable to a piece of meat in a hot pan. In surgery, this method, known as coagulation, is used to deliberately stop bleeding during an operation – because the coagulation of the tissue also shrinks the damaged blood vessels, which are clearly visible on the outside as spider veins or small veins on the face. The lightning-fast reduction of the blood vessels also closes the damaged areas and stops the bleeding permanently. The electrical impulses will not only shrink the affected veins, but also stop the blood flow for good. As EVRF® works exclusively with insulated needles and catheters, the effect is very localized and causes only minimal damage to the surrounding tissue. Treatment with EVRF® is minimally invasive; no scalpels or scissors are used. This keeps side effects to a minimum – most everyday activities can be resumed after treatment. As each vessel has different tissue properties, we use needles of different strengths with the EVRF generator from fcare systems to close spider veins or fine veins on the face. We can also remove a copper rose with this form of treatment. Of course, we also offer all classic treatment methods to remove these external blemishes. However, EVRF® also offers advantages over conventional incisions with a scalpel, such as the permanent prevention of bleeding and mechanical tissue protection. Here you will find an overview of all the advantages of EVRF®:
- EVRF® is a minimally invasive treatment method
- It can be used all year round
- The treatment is suitable for all skin types
- There are hardly any side effects
- The patient can do without stockings after the treatment
- Immediate resumption of everyday activities is possible
