The so-called slimming syringe uses modern active ingredients from the class of GLP-1 receptor agonists. These medications mimic the body's own hormones that regulate the feeling of hunger and slow gastric emptying. That means: you feel full more quickly, eat less and thus lose weight in the long term – without a constant feeling of hunger.
Important: the slimming syringe does not replace a healthy lifestyle. It is part of a holistic treatment concept that includes nutrition, exercise and medical care.
The therapy is particularly suitable for people who have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher (obesity) or a BMI of 27 or higher in combination with concomitant conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or sleep apnoea.
In a personal consultation, we examine together with you whether this form of therapy is suitable for you and which individual goals are realistically achievable.
Treatment with the slimming syringe is not sensible or safe for every patient. As a rule, the therapy is not an option in cases of severe diseases of the pancreas (e.g. acute or chronic pancreatitis), certain thyroid diseases (e.g. medullary thyroid carcinoma or a family history thereof), severe gastrointestinal diseases, severe mental illnesses or eating disorders (e.g. anorexia, bulimia), during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the excipients.
Furthermore, the therapy is not recommended if there is no medical indication (e.g. obesity or weight-related concomitant conditions).
How it works

The injections are usually administered once a week. Alternatively, we show you how to carry out the application yourself at home after thorough instruction.
