After around four to ten weeks, other hairs can be treated again. Hair roots damaged by the laser cannot actually produce new hair. Over time, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment on other roots that have been dormant under the skin for a long time and have not produced any hair. After hormonal changes in the body – such as during pregnancy or after the menopause – hair roots that were previously dormant are activated. Further treatments should then be carried out.
